Whoa! It sure is hot out there. The weather forecasters say the hottest we’ve hit so far is 98 is Grand Junction. My car, however, has different feelings about the situation. When it’s this hot, we can all agree those 5 degrees can make a big difference! So why is your car dashboard reading so different from the actual temperature? Science. Yep, it’s that simple. The asphalt heats up significantly, resulting in the higher reading. Also, when you first start your car the radiator heats up the temperature. Once you drive a while the reading should even out. Enough learning. Time to get back to cooling down with frosty beverages and good music. Have a good weekend, Vault Fam.
